Peekchess is not finished. Things will break, screens will change, and your progress could be lost while we are still building. Please do not treat it as somewhere your data is safe forever.

One account per person, and keep your password to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility.

Only connect a Chess.com or Lichess account that is yours. We read public games through those sites’ own public interfaces and never ask for your password on either.

Use it to train. Do not scrape it, hammer it, break into it, or resell what is on it.

Peek AI’s puzzle explanations are written by AI from engine analysis. Their moves are checked against Stockfish, but the wording can contain mistakes. If you find one, report it and we will correct it.

Everything here is ours and stays ours, with one exception. The analysis screen downloads Stockfish 18 into your browser and runs it there, so a copy of it is yours: it is free software under the GPL v3, and its source is there for the taking.

Peekchess is free while it is being tested, and the account you test on keeps lifetime access when it starts charging. There is nothing to pay later and no subscription. For everybody else it will sell as a one off purchase.

The app is provided as it is. We cannot guarantee it is available, correct, or that it will make you a better player, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it.

You can stop and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We can close an account that is being abused. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
